| Renaming Application files and files or folders related to the application should be avoided. Generally these files are found with a folders contained in the Program Files Folder. | ||

| There are many types of files that should not be renamed. However, it is generally safe to rename files that you create by using applications.
Exceptions do exist. Worksheet have the ability to pull data from other worksheets. Renaming a worksheet in this instance would cause the data to be "missing". |
